At Bluequill Daycare and After School Care we offer a variety of programs designed to support children from newborns to 12 years old. Our experienced teachers create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
Infant Program
Our infant program is designed to nurture your child’s essential needs in a safe, healthy, and loving environment. Infants receive attentive supervision throughout a thorough daily routine that includes body care, feeding, resting, and sleeping.
Social development is encouraged through a variety of playful learning experiences, allowing infants to explore their creativity and imagination both with toys and interactions with other children.
In our infant room, each child has the opportunity to explore and learn in a stimulating and secure space. Weekly activities are thoughtfully planned to reflect your child’s interests, fostering exploration, learning, and independence.
We provide bottle feeding and solid foods, tailored to your child’s needs, and each infant has a designated crib or mat for multiple rest periods throughout the day. For fresh air and exploration, we use our two six-seater strollers to take the infants on walks around the building.
Our caring staff handle diaper changes, maintain a clean and safe environment, and closely monitor each infant’s well-being. Parents receive daily reports detailing their child’s meals, nap times, and overall day, ensuring you stay connected and informed.
Our bright and spacious room provides your little one with a safe and stimulating environment filled with fun activities and age-appropriate toys.
Our carefully designed daily routine and weekly schedule support each child’s unique needs and development. Outdoor play is an essential part of our day, and children enjoy our beautiful playground area where they can explore and play freely. We also have two six-seater strollers to take the children on walks around the building, encouraging curiosity and fresh air in a safe setting.
Parents can expect regular, daily communication from our dedicated teachers, who provide up-to-date information on your child’s eating, sleeping, and toileting habits, helping you stay connected to your child’s day.
Our routine features a variety of activities that promote child development, including gross motor skills, STEM exploration, multicultural awareness, outdoor play, and much more — all designed to foster growth, learning, and joy.
Our toddler program is designed to support a healthy and smooth transition from home to preschool. Through a variety of learning experiences, toddlers develop basic routines and social skills while exploring creativity and imagination through play and visual arts.
In the toddler room, children are welcomed into a safe, stimulating environment where weekly activities are thoughtfully planned to meet each child’s interests and encourage exploration, learning, and independence. Child-sized furniture promotes self-help skills such as independent eating. Breakfast and hot lunches are provided, and each child has their own cot for daily rest and sleep.
Our caring staff guide toddlers in developing important skills like eating, dressing, and personal hygiene. Since communication becomes increasingly important at this stage, children are encouraged to expand their vocabulary and expressive language through songs, stories, and games. Interactive “circle time” fosters active participation and engagement.
Toddlers enjoy sensory exploration with sand and water play, while age-appropriate educational toys introduce concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, and sizes. Outdoor play is a vital part of the day, with access to a playground featuring slides, ropes, stairs, riding toys like bicycles and cars, balls, and a sandbox.
Parents receive daily reports detailing their child’s meals, nap times, and overall activities to keep you connected and informed.
Our preschool program is specially designed for children transitioning from toddlers to school-age. This program builds on the toddler curriculum and introduces more group time and creative activities that support your child’s continued growth in language, arts, math, science, and movement.
